Cowshed Cafe & Accommodation

Centrally located at Gentle Annie is New Zealand’s only coffee shop situated in a once operating milking shed. Situated facing the sea, surrounded by gardens and grassy play areas, eating is enjoyed either outdoors or indoors in a lovingly restored shed with local timbers and a fish pond set amongst ferns. The Cowshed coffee shop is open daily from 9am-6pm during the Summer (longer over Peak periods), and has limited hours throughout the rest of the year.Delicious coffee and homemade baking is on offer. All baking is lovingly prepared with care in our kitchen. Fresh baking smells intermingle with driftwood smoke to warm the senses and encourage lingering awhile.
