The Accommodation remains open throughout the year.Located in what was previously the banking chambers, the main restaurant and the adjoining private dining area/meeting room (previously the manager’s office) feature a fully restored ornate ceiling, along with the solid matai-timber floors which have been sanded and polished. When replacing the roof we were delighted to find that the rough sarking beneath the corrugated iron was actually heart rimu; this has been hand crafted into our table tops by a local joiner. The fully working fireplaces in both rooms have been completely restored and will provide comfort on cold winter days.
